Psych 11/4/09 notes Emotions are an affective state tempered up by physiological changes that influence your behavior. Emotions are reddened by events outside of us. Hedonic Relevance- (Hedonic=god) refers to the percentage point to which a person’s behaviors are rewarding or pricy to the recoverr. This influences attribution in both ways: 1) increases the likeliness that a persons behaviors will be seen as representing an underlying singularity or position. 2) Increases extremity of evaluation-(means that the more they mean to you, the harder the evaluation… for example, a heighten won’t care if someone else&rsq uo;s tike is running around, but if their aver kid is doing the uniform social function they’d have something against that action.) Fundamental Attribution Error-Attributing of an attitude found only on behaviors without giving competent weight to the situation in which the behaviors occurred.

Actor-Observer Difference- The tendency for people to view behavior of others as being caused by internal traits, composition seeing our own behavior as being caused by the situation. This is caused by two reasons: 1) People have more cultivation about themselves than others. 2) Salience- when you observe ot hers, your attention is focused on them, and! when you expect your focus is on the situation. Primacy Effect- The order in which you receive info effects your lowest impression. Self-fulfilling prophecy- Our first impression influences our behaviors towards someone, they then move to our behavior move into motion our unbreakable chain of events.
